Relationships and Sex Education Consultation 2020

As required by law, we will be having a consultation opportunity with parents, governors and pupils after half term to look at the new RSE curriculum to gather your views before the implementation of the new RSE policy. We will share the new resources and curriculum we have found which a number of schools are using, which has been awarded the PSHE Association Quality Assurance Mark. We will make you aware of what is the law in terms of what each year group must cover, and what aspects are outside of the science curriculum (the only parts Year 6 pupils may be excused from). If you would like to come to that meeting, please come on Tuesday 4th March at 2.45 to the hall. The curriculum overview is on the tab below please feel free to email in any comments if you can’t make the meeting. Tracy will also be looking at it in her coffee mornings.
