John Stainer Staff Members
Senior Leadership Team
Shermane started in John Stainer school as a teacher more than ten years ago, has been doing a number of leadership roles around London and has come back to us! We are delighted, she has wide ranging skills and a great deal to offer to help John Stainer on its continued journey.
Claire is one of the most longstanding members of staff, and has been the backbone of the singing and music in the school, giving up her own time to train the Voice Club, our school choir, as well as teaching children to play the piano. Claire has taught for many years in Year 6, preparing children for their final exams. Claire also makes sure children across the whole school get to experience live orchestral music every year.
Andy Bond has been passionate about sport in the school, in addition to jobsharing in Year 6. He regularly takes children to sporting events and competitions, as well as taking Year 6 on their annual residential school journey to the Kingswood Action Adventure centre. Andy also does focussed 1-1 support sessions for children who need it. Mr Bond is such a fast runner he can run 5kms on hills in less than 19 minutes!
Elizabeth has been teaching in Reception for two years. She has shown herself to be especially good at all the different dress-up days we have had, with her best costume being Violet Beauregarde! Liz has been with us since she qualified, and is held in extremely high regard by the parents in her class who specifically asked me to put on the website how brilliant she is!
Pupil Welfare Manager
Anna deals with every aspect of pupil care, from admissions, to medication, dinners, first aid and general welfare. Anna also makes sure we are fully staffed for the lunchtimes, and that the quality of the food is up to scratch. Anna likes cycling to school in the summer!
